🧺 Ingredients

Dough

  • 250 g plain flour

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • ½ tsp salt

  • 100 g butter, cold, cubed

  • 120 g grated cheese (cheddar, emmental or mix)

  • 120 g milk

Topping

  • 1 egg, beaten

  • 2 tbsp grated cheese

  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

  • 1 tbsp poppy seeds


👩‍🍳 Preparation (Cookidoo style)

1️⃣ Make the dough

Place flour, baking powder, salt and butter into mixing bowl.
Mix 10 sec / speed 6 until crumb-like.

Add grated cheese and milk.
Knead 2 min / dough mode.


2️⃣ Shape

Transfer dough to a lightly floured surface.
Roll out to approx. 5 mm thickness.
Cut into strips (about 1–1.5 cm wide).


3️⃣ Top the sticks

Place sticks on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
Brush with beaten egg.
Sprinkle evenly with grated cheese, sesame seeds and poppy seeds.


4️⃣ Bake

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (fan 170°C) for
20–25 minutes, until golden and crisp.


5️⃣ Serve

Cool slightly on a rack.
Serve warm or cold.


💡 Tips

  • Use parmesan for extra crunch

  • Add paprika or garlic powder to the dough for flavour

  • Keep in an airtight container for up to 2 days

  • Freezer-friendly (unbaked, shaped sticks)

🥖 2-Ingredient Wholemeal Yogurt Bread Rolls (Thermomix)

🧺 Ingredients

  • 250 g wholemeal flour

  • 200 g natural yogurt (unsweetened, full-fat or Greek-style)

✔ No yeast
✔ No sugar
✔ No oil
✔ Low GI, high fibre


👩‍🍳 Preparation (Cookidoo style)

1️⃣ Make the dough

Place wholemeal flour and yogurt into mixing bowl.
Mix 10 sec / speed 5.
Scrape down sides.

Knead 1 min / dough mode.
Dough should be soft but not sticky.
(If needed, add 1 tbsp flour.)


2️⃣ Shape

Transfer dough onto a lightly floured surface.
Divide into 6 equal pieces.
Shape into rolls and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper.

Optional: lightly dust with wholemeal flour.


3️⃣ Bake

Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (fan 180°C) for
18–22 minutes, until lightly golden and firm.


4️⃣ Cool & serve

Cool slightly on a rack before serving.


💡 Diabetic-friendly tips

  • Best paired with protein (eggs, cheese, chicken, hummus)

  • Avoid honey or sweet toppings

  • Can add seeds (flax, chia, sesame) for extra fibre (optional)

  • Keeps fresh 1 day, freezes very well
